{{/presale}}First issued in 1986, the American Silver Eagle is one of the most trusted and esteemed coins in the world. Now in its 34th annual release, the Silver Eagle remains a valued investment for its government-backed pure silver content, timeless design, and low premium over spot price..
If you’re looking for a tangible way to diversify and protect your wealth through silver, the American Silver Eagle monster box may be the perfect option for you.
The obverse pays tribute to sculptor Adolph Weinman’s wildly popular Walking Liberty design, which was used on the US Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. It features Lady Liberty walking towards the sun and America’s shining future. Her shoulders are enveloped in the flag, and she is reaching toward the horizon with her right hand. She carries laurel branches in her left arm, symbolizing America’s civic and military greatness. This iconic design is boldly engraved with the inscriptions “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST,” along with the year of issue.
The American Silver Eagle’s reverse depicts US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti’s interpretation of the Great Seal of the United States, featuring a shield and heraldic eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle holds a banner in its beak that reads “E PLURIBUS UNUM (out of many, one)”. The olive branch of peace and the arrows of war are held in its talons. A striped shield rests in front of the great bird, while 13 stars above its head symbolize the original colonies, which are framed by the inverted triangle of its outstretched wings. The coin’s weight, purity, and legal tender value are also engraved on the coin.
