Diversification is crucial when preparing for the future, so expand your assortment with this Food and Shelter 1 oz Copper round, the fourth addition to the Osborne Mint’s Safety in Numbers series.

Safety in Numbers encourages early preparation for unexpected crises. Each round in the six-coin series is composed of .999 fine copper and portrays ideal options on how to safeguard your future.

The obverse of Food and Shelter features a family safely concealed in an underground shelter. Four cans of nonperishable food items sit above them. FOOD + SHELTER and SAFETY IN NUMBERS are inscribed.

The reverse showcases the Safety in Numbers emblem, featuring a family and a fist, protected by a shield with the phrase PROTECT THE FUTURE engraved at the top. REAL METAL – REAL VALUE are additionally engraved across the bottom.

The primary theme behind the Safety in Numbers series is to encourage families to prepare now in order to be ready for future crises. Additionally, it stresses the importance of investing in precious metals and creating a stockpile of goods that can be helpful in the event of a future emergency or troublesome situation.

Because food and shelter are two primary keys for securing a strategic and solid emergency plan, the Food and Shelter round specifically encourages families to make security improvements to their homes as well as to prepare food storage that can last at least two months or longer.

Invest in the Safety in Numbers collection by purchasing your own Food and Shelter copper round, now available through Provident Metals. Use our safe and secure online ordering system to order yours today.

About the Osborne Mint:

Founded in 1835, the Osborne Mint was originally a private mint called Z. Bisbee Co located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company was established in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, and 179 years later, it remains only a few blocks away from its original location.

In addition to holding the distinction of America’s oldest private mint, the company, among other achievements, minted presidential campaign medals for Abraham Lincoln’s successful executive run, manufactured over 5 billion food ration tokens during WWII and produced more transportation tokens than any other private mint in the country. It remains an innovative and creative company that continues to adapt to the changing marketplace.
