Coins in this listing received a Mint State 64 grade from either the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NCG) or Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). Coins in this condition have a good overall luster with an even strike. You might notice several small contact marks in groups on the surface of the coin. Two moderately heavy marks might also be present. Overall, the coins are of attractive quality.

Obverse

The obverse face of each coin showcases the image of Lady Liberty in left profile. In this depiction, she has her hair pinned up on the back of her head with a string of pearls. She is also wearing a crown bearing the word Liberty. Around the design, you will see 13 stars representing the original colonies.

Reverse

The heraldic eagle image can be found on the reverse side of each of these coins. In this image, there is a shield on the eagles chest. In his talons, you can see arrows and an olive branch. The words United States of America are seen around the design field.

History

Between 1840 and 1907, the United States Mints Philadelphia, Charlotte, Dahlonega, San Francisco, and New Orleans facilities produced these coins. These coins were eventually replaced in 1908 by the Indian Gold Quarter Eagle Coins.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. When will my order ship?

Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
