Obverse
The obverse side of the Chinese Panda 1/20 oz Gold Coins includes the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. The buildings outer faade has featured on the obverse side since the coins debuted in 1983. Inscriptions include the Chinese characters above that read Zhongua Renmin Gongheguo and a date of issue below.
Reverse
On the reverse face of Chinese Panda Gold Coins is a new depiction of the Giant Panda each year. Please note that only the 2001 and 2002 dates share a reverse design. All others have distinctive designs. Also, coins dated 1983 to 2000 have a face value of 5 Yuan, while those dated 2001 to 2015 have a face value of 20 Yuan.
History
Chinese Panda Gold Coins were available in Troy ounces from 1982/1983 until 2015. In 2016, the Chinese Mint transitioned to the program to Grams. The Chinese Panda 1/20 oz Gold Coin became the Chinese Panda 1 Gram Coin.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
