History
The American Silver Eagle Coin collection is a staple of the United States and is considered the countrys official silver bullion product. Since its initial release in 1986, this coin collection has featured detailed designs and high quality that collectors around the world have adored.
Obverse
The obverse of the Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin shows Walking Liberty. This image was designed by Adolph A. Weinman, a student of Augustus Saint-Gaudens, and has been a staple obverse design for this collection. In the design, Lady Liberty is wrapped in an American flag, and she walks toward the horizon with her arm outstretched. The LIBERTY inscription is shown above her head.
Reverse
John Mercantis heraldic eagle design is seen on the reverse of the Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin. This design was originally inspired by the Great Seal of the United States, so this image bears a great amount of patriotic symbolism and values. The heraldic eagle is shown with its wings outstretched. It holds both an olive branch and various arrows in its talons.
