{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States Mint and has been issued annually since 1986. With its classic design and trusted silver content, the coin remains a top choice among collectors and investors. Provident Metals is offering American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins from random years, each graded near-perfect by top certification services.
Highlights:
Each listing includes one American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin in Mint State 69 condition. MS69 coins are considered nearly flawless, with strong mint luster and only a couple of small imperfections. These coins are certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), or Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC), and arrive in a protective plastic slab. Labels such as First Strike or Early Release may be included, and some slabs from PCGS or NGC may also bear a CAC verification sticker.
Early Release (ER) and First Strike (FS) labels are issued when coins are submitted to grading services within 30 days of their initial mint release. These labels help collectors identify coins that entered the market early in their release cycle.
Obverse
On the obverse, the American Eagle Silver Coin displays Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty design. This design originally appeared on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947 and has been used on Silver Eagles since their inception. The image shows Liberty walking toward the horizon with one arm outstretched, carrying branches of oak and laurel in the other, symbolizing the nations aspirations.
Reverse
The reverse of Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins features one of two bald eagle images, depending on the coins year. The original design, by John Mercanti, depicts a heraldic eagle behind the US shield. Coins struck after mid-2021 include a flying eagle created by Emily Damstra, carrying an oak branch in its talons.
History
The American Eagle program began in 1986 and has continued every year since. These bullion coins are issued by the US Mint and are known for their symbolic artwork and high purity. Whether youre starting a new collection or adding to an existing one, these coins offer both historical value and recognizable design.
