{{/presale}}American Eagle Gold Coins are coveted by investors around the globe. The popular gold bullion coin was introduced in 1986 and is available each year in the gold bullion series with four weights, the most popular of which is the 1 oz gold coin. When individual coins are combined with MintID certificate cards, investors can purchase the most secure versions of gold bullion on the market. Right now, you can purchase American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins with MintID certificate cards online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
If you purchase the American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins in this product listing, Provident Metals has the coins available inside of individual MintID certificate cards. The card has an NFC microchip included in its design that is AES-128 bit encryption. The tamper-evident microchips in the cards will render a tampered result if any attempts to mess with the card or chip have been made. MintID NFC microchips store a digital profile for the individual coin in the cloud so you can instantly authenticate your purchase with a few taps on your smartphone.
Obverse
The obverse side of American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins includes the Augustus Saint-Gaudens design of Lady Liberty. This front-facing relief of Liberty shows her figure walking toward you with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. Behind her, the US Capitol Building is visible at her feet, rays of sunshine emerge from the horizon, and a ring of 50 stars encircles the entire design field.
Reverse
On the reverse face of the American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin, you will find a depiction of a family of American bald eagles. This vision of the bald eagle family includes a female eagle in the nest with a young hatchling at her side. A male eagle flies overhead clutching an olive branch in its talons. This design was created in 1986 by Miley Busiek and is exclusive to the American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin series.
