The Heads or Tales Coin Company has a well-earned reputation for producing some of the worlds most interesting and collectible silver statues. The introduction of the Lost World Collection was an immediate success amongst the investor and collector both. The collection debuted with a T-Rex statue. Other dinosaur and historic animal statues followed in the tracks of the ferocious T-Rex, including a Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, and Stegosaurus. The 8 oz Silver Antique Finish Ankylosaurus Statue is the 5th release in the collection. Just 1,000 silver statues were released. This ensures that these statues are highly collectible, and will readily hold their value.

Highlights:

  • Delivered secured in a shipping box, includes a Certificate of Authenticity!
  • 5th statue released in Lost World Collection!
  • Casting limited to just 1,000 statues!
  • Contains 8 Troy oz of actual silver content.

Your 8 oz Silver Antique Finish Ankylosaurus Statue ships to you secured inside of a protective box that will keep it from damage during shipping. Each of the silver statues in this collection have a laser-etched serial number that will match up with the individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity that arrives with your purchase.

The Ankylosaurus is the fifth released statue in the HotCo Lost World Collection. The Ankylosaurus is quite often referred to as a tank, hailing from the Cretaceous Period. The 8 oz Silver Antique Finish Ankylosaurus Statue depicts the large armor-covered beast whose fossils have been discovered in geological formations that date to the end of the Cretaceous Period. The last of the Ankylosaurus is believed to have vanished from the Earth between 68 and 66 million years ago, in western North America.

The Ankylosaurus looked formidable, but it was a vegetarian that used its size, armored plates, and tail to defend itself against predators. The name of the dinosaur translates to fused lizard, as a result of the thick skull plates that covered its head and back. The dinosaur also had a large tail that it used as a weapon to attack and defend. The Ankylosaurus could grow to an average length of 19.7 to 26.2 and could weigh as much as 8.8 short tons.

Each of the statues in the Lost World Collection features the HotCo proprietary antique finish. This finish brings to vibrant life the detailed design of the Ankylosaurus. Each of the plates on the statue is beautifully defined. The antique polish lends an heirloom quality to the statue.
