Monarch Precious Metals is proud to introduce an exciting new series of silver bars, just in time for Halloween. The Friday the 13th Series begins with the release of the 3 oz Broken Mirror Silver Bar. Did you know that the fear of Friday the 13th is known as “paraskevidekatriaphobia”? This superstition has deep roots in various cultures and historical events. Some believe it can be traced back to ancient Norse mythology, where the number 12 symbolized completeness and harmony, while 13 was seen as an irregular number. Right now, you can order these 3 oz Silver Friday the 13th Broken Mirror Bars online from Provident Metals.

Highlights:

  • Includes a purple pouch with a drawstring closure!
  • First design in the Friday the 13th Series!
  • Limited mintage of only 666 bars!
  • Contains 3 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
  • Front design features the Broken Mirror design.
  • Reverse includes the mint logo and individual serial numbers.

Each 3 oz Silver Friday the 13th Broken Mirror Bar you purchase from Provident Metals comes with a purple drawstring pouch. These bars are part of a limited mintage, with only 666 bars available, each with a unique serial number on the reverse.

Obverse

On the obverse design of 3 oz Silver Broken Mirror Bars, you’ll find the image of an ornate mirror with cracked glass. The superstition surrounding broken mirrors can be traced back to ancient civilizations. In ancient Rome, for example, it was believed that mirrors had the power to capture one’s soul. Breaking a mirror was thought to harm the soul or spirit and bring bad luck. Similar beliefs can be found in other ancient cultures as well.

Reverse

For the reverse side of the Silver Friday the 13th Broken Mirror Bars, Monarch features its logo along with identifying hallmarks, including the serial number, weight, purity, and metal content. Inscriptions read 3 TROY OUNCE, 999, and FINE SILVER.

History

While many people fear Friday the 13th, others view it differently. In some cultures, the number 13 is considered lucky, and Friday is seen as a day of good fortune. In Italian culture, for example, Friday the 17th is considered an unlucky day, not Friday the 13th.
