{{/presale}}Goldback Series gold notes come in some of the lowest gold bullion weights in the industry. While the 25 and 50 New Hampshire Goldbacks come with weights common to many gold bar and gold coin collections, other weights in the Goldback Series such as 1/1000, 1/200, and 1/100 Troy oz represent weights you simply will not find in gold coin collections. Provident Metals currently has 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes available to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase one of these 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes at Provident Metals, you receive an item that is housed inside of a protective plastic currency sleeve. The gold bullion notes featured here were created by combining thin layers of gold between sheets of polyester, giving the gold bullion natural protection against damage. The currency sleeve enhances that protection and provides a good vehicle for displaying your gold notes.
Obverse
Fortitude is depicted in the obverse design of the 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Note. This design shows the Revolutionary War spirit of Fortitude. She stands wearing the coat of a Revolutionary War soldier as her dress, the stripes of the American flag, drape down her figure toward the ground. As she stands still and steady, she holds her long rifle at her side. There is a slab of rock in the foreground with the phrase Live Free or Die, the state motto of New Hampshire.
Reverse
For the reverse design field of 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes, there is no separate design. Instead, what you will see is the reflected image from the obverse side. The thin layering of the gold results in the obverse design reflecting in a mirror image on the reverse. As a result, it is not possible to put a different image or other enhancements on the reverse without impacting the visual elements on the obverse.
History
New Hampshire is known as the Granite State for its abundant granite deposits and quarries. The inclusion of a slab of granite in this design pays homage to the nickname for the state, the Granite State. New Hampshire was a hotbed for Revolutionary War activity and spirit. The state was the first to turn its back on the government of Great Britain as a British North American colony, creating its own independent government and developing its own state constitution.
