Design
The exterior design of the 2026 Samoa Gilded Silver Opening Ball Shape Coin resembles the familiar pattern of a soccer ball. Featured on the surface are the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo and the official coat of arms of Samoa. History
The FIFA World Cup Trophy has evolved over time. The first version, known as the Jules Rimet Trophy, was awarded from 1930 until 1970. Brazil earned permanent ownership after winning the tournament three times. In 1974, FIFA introduced the current trophy, which depicts two human figures lifting the Earth. While the original remains with FIFA, winning nations are awarded gold-plated replicas to retain.
