History
The 1907 Double Eagle remains one of the most admired coins in American history, thanks in large part to the Lady Liberty design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This design was created during a period when President Theodore Roosevelt sought to improve the artistic quality of US coinage. Drawing from classical Greek influences, Saint-Gaudens crafted a Liberty figure shown walking forward, holding a torch and olive branch as symbols of progress and peace.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
