Continuing its licensed Stranger Things series, the Perth Mint has released a silver coin inspired by Season 3. Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Colorized Tuvalu Stranger Things Season 3 Rectangular Silver Coin displays a portrait of King Charles III. Designed by Jody Clark, the effigy shows His Majesty in left-profile relief without a crown. Clark is also known for creating the final portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, making this design part of a familiar modern lineage. Inscriptions include KING CHARLES III, TUVALU, 1 OZ 9999 AG, 1 DOLLAR, and 2026.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Colorized Stranger Things Season 3 Rectangular 1 oz Silver Coin is artwork based on the Season 3 promotional poster. Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven are featured in the design, reflecting the seasons main cast. The storyline reaches its climax at the mall, where Eleven loses her powers and Hopper seemingly sacrifices himself to shut down the Russian operation. Later scenes hint that Hopper may still be alive.
History
The third season begins with a lighter mood, focusing on summer routines and changing friendships, before shifting into darker storylines. It broadens the scope of the series by introducing a hidden Russian presence beneath Starcourt Mall. As the characters investigate mysterious events, they uncover efforts to reopen the gate to the Upside Down, putting Hawkins at risk once again.
