History
The Royal Dragon represented one of the most important symbols connected to the Tudor family and their Welsh ancestry. During the reign of Henry VII, the dragon became part of the Tudor royal imagery as a way to reinforce the familys connection to Britains legendary past. Displayed among the Tudor Beasts at Hampton Court Palace, the dragon stood as a symbol of strength, legitimacy, and continuity for the Tudor Dynasty.
