The obverse of the 2026 British Tudor Beasts Queen’s Lion Gold Coins features King Charles III. Sculpted by Martin Jennings in 2022, this first official portrait of the king shows him in left-profile relief without a crown. The inscriptions here include CHARLES III, DG REX FD, and 25 POUNDS.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Tudor Beasts Queen’s Lion 1/4 oz Gold Coins, the Queens Lion emblem tied to Jane Seymour appears prominently. History
Jane Seymours personal badge was a significant part of Tudor symbolism. Featuring a hawthorn tree paired with a phoenix, the design spoke to renewal and transformation. The phoenix, a mythological bird reborn from fire, represented Janes rise from lady-in-waiting to queen and Henry VIIIs wish for a renewed dynasty through their marriage.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
