{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The Perth Mint, established in 1899 in Western Australia, is one of the most recognized mints in the world. It produces a wide range of gold and silver bullion coins known for their purity and consistent quality. In addition to its yearly investment releases, the mint creates special series that showcase important aspects of Australian culture and nature. Today, 2026 Australian Wonders of Australia The Outback 1 oz Silver Coins are available online at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
These 2026 Australian Wonders of Australia The Outback 1 oz Silver Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Single coins are housed in plastic flips. Orders of 25 come in tubes, while 250-coin Monster Boxes contain 10 tubes in total. A micro-engraved letter appears on the reverse of each coin as a security feature.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Australian Wonders of Australia The Outback Silver Coin features the current effigy of King Charles III. Designed by Dan Thorne, this portrait debuted on Australian coins in 2024. The image presents the King in left-facing profile without a crown. The inscriptions here include CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ 9999 AG, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Wonders of Australia The Outback 1 oz Silver Coin, the design focuses on the vast Australian Outback. This remote interior region is known for its red earth, dry climate, and open terrain. It stretches across several states and territories and makes up the majority of Australias land area, though only a small share of the population lives there. Inscriptions here include 2026 and the P mint mark.
History
Despite its dry conditions, the Outback includes many natural landmarks and ecosystems. The area features the Simpson Deserts sand dunes, the rock formations of Uluru-Kata Tjuta, expansive salt lakes, deep gorges in the Kimberley, and wide plains in Channel Country. The reverse artwork combines these elements with native wildlife to represent the regions variety.
