{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The Australian Swan Series from The Perth Mint is known for its annual design updates and limited mintages that appeal to collectors and investors alike. Since its debut in 2017, the series has featured one-ounce coins struck in .9999 fine gold and silver, each showcasing a fresh image of the iconic swan. With a focus on detailed engraving and reliable quality, the Perth Mint continues to produce coins that stand out in the bullion market. Today, 2026 Australian Swan 1 oz Gold Coins are available from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
These 2026 Australian Swan 1 oz Gold Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and come housed in protective acrylic capsules. This release celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Swan Series and includes a special P10 mint mark to mark the occasion.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Australian Swan Gold Coin displays a portrait of King Charles III. Designed by Dan Thorne, this left-facing image shows the monarch without a crown, offering a simple and modern appearance. The inscriptions here read CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Swan 1 oz Gold Coin, you will see a swan gliding through the air above a quiet lake. Black swans are native to Australia and live in many types of water environments, including estuaries, wetlands, rivers, and inland lakes. They are especially common in the southwest of Western Australia, where the Swan River and nearby habitats provide a strong natural home. Inscriptions here read 2026, 1 9999, and AUSTRALIAN GOLD SWAN.
History
Beyond its natural habitat, the black swan is also an important symbol in Australia. It represents the state of Western Australia and appears on its flag and coat of arms. In Aboriginal traditions, the black swan is part of Dreamtime stories and is often linked to ideas of transformation, mystery, and the connection between people and nature.
