Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Armenian Noah’s Ark Gold Coin displays the official coat of arms of Armenia. Adopted on April 19, 1992, the emblem shows an eagle and a lion supporting a shield at the center. Both animals have long-standing ties to Armenias early kingdoms. The shield itself is divided into four sections with heraldic imagery, and at its center is a small depiction of Noahs Ark resting on Mount Ararat. Inscriptions include REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA, 1 OZ AU 999.9, 50000 DRAM, and 2026.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Noah’s Ark 1 oz Gold Coin, you will find a detailed portrayal of Noahs Ark floating on calm waters. A dove carrying an olive branch flies toward the ark, symbolizing hope and peace. Mount Ararat stands in the distance with the sun rising behind it, reflecting the traditional belief that the ark came to rest there. The words Noahs Ark appear around the design in both Armenian and English.
History
The story of Noahs Ark comes from the Book of Genesis in the Hebrew Bible. In the account, God sends a flood to cleanse the earth but instructs Noah to build an ark to save his family and pairs of every animal. Genesis also lists Noah as the tenth patriarch before the flood, the son of Lamech, who believed Noah would bring relief from hardship.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed.
