The obverse of the 2026 Antique Samoa Shangri-La Sliding Door Silver Coin displays the national coat of arms of Samoa. The design includes a central shield framed by palm branches on either side. In the lower section of the shield is the Southern Cross constellation, while the upper portion includes ocean waves and a palm tree design. Above the shield is a Christian cross. Inscriptions include SAMOA, 5 OZ, AG 999, and $10.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Antique Shangri-La Sliding Door 5 oz Silver Coin, the design shows mountain peaks and two hikers exploring the rugged landscape. The coins sliding door feature opens to reveal the hidden paradise of Shangri-La, accented with selective 24-karat gold plating. The modern legend of Shangri-La became famous through James Hiltons 1933 novel Lost Horizon, which introduced readers to a secluded valley in Tibet where residents enjoy long life and peaceful living, far removed from the outside world.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
