{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Among all the dates in the American Silver Eagle lineup, 2026 has added meaning as a major anniversary year. The United States Mint first introduced this bullion series in 1986 with a 1 oz coin made from .999 pure silver to meet investor demand for a trusted silver product. Forty years later, the Silver Eagle remains a steady favorite in the bullion world and a familiar sight to collectors. At this time, certified 2026 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are available from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
The 2026 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins offered here arrive inside protective plastic slabs and are certified MS69 by PCGS. This grade indicates a nearly flawless coin with complete mint luster and crisp detail. At most, two very small marks may be present, and those must fall outside the main focal areas. To receive the First Strike designation, coins must be submitted to PCGS for grading within 30 days of the official release.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 American Eagle Silver Coin continues to feature Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty. This well-known image presents Liberty in left-facing profile, wrapped in the American flag as she strides toward the rising sun. Her right hand is extended, and her left hand carries oak and laurel branches. The inscriptions here read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2026.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin displays the modern eagle design created by Emily Damstra. First released in 2021, the scene shows a bald eagle coming in for a landing, wings open, holding an oak branch in its talons. Inscriptions here read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
Silver Eagles saw a refreshed look in 2021, part of a larger effort to update several US Mint designs. The new style introduced improved security features and a more modern finish while keeping the coin instantly recognizable. Over the life of the series, production has taken place at mints such as San Francisco, Philadelphia, and West Point, and proof or burnished editions from these facilities are especially popular.
