Every 2026 American Eagle 1/4 oz Gold Coin offered in this listing comes encapsulated in a protective slab and has been graded MS70. This perfect Mint State grade confirms strong luster with no visible surface marks. In addition, Early Release status means the coins were delivered to the grading service within 30 days of the Mints release date.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 American Eagle Gold Coin displays Lady Liberty in the classic 1907 design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Liberty strides forward with a torch held high in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, a confident symbol of progress and peace rooted in early 20th-century coinage. The inscriptions here include LIBERTY and 2026.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2026 Eagle 1/4 oz Gold Coin is the modern bald eagle by Jennie Norris. First appearing on the series in 2021, it presents a left-profile view of the eagles head with sharp detail that brings out the feathers and powerful expression. Inscriptions here include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 10 DOLLARS, and 1/4 OZ. FINE GOLD.
History
These 1/4 oz coins have a 22mm diameter and match the larger Gold Eagles in appearance, just in a more compact size. Saint-Gaudens historic Liberty remains the face of the series, while the reverse features Jennie Norris bold eagle portrait introduced in 2021. Fractional Gold Eagles like this one give buyers a flexible way to add gold to a collection or portfolio without committing to a full-ounce coin.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
