{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The 2026 issue of the American Gold Eagle celebrates the 40th year of this well-known gold bullion series. First introduced by the U.S. Mint in 1986, these coins have been a consistent part of the precious metals market for four decades. Their popularity has shifted over the years based on economic trends, but they remain a trusted option. Right now, you can order 2026 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coins from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Each 2026 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coin is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Provident Metals ships these coins individually in protective flips or in tubes of 50 for bulk purchases. These 22-karat gold coins are composed of 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver, which enhances their durability without sacrificing gold purity.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 American Eagle Gold Coin shows the iconic Lady Liberty image created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907. Liberty is shown walking forward with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. Behind her are sun rays, a circle of stars, and the U.S. Capitol in the lower background. The inscriptions here include LIBERTY, 2026, and the ASG signature mark.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2026 Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coins, youll find the more recent bald eagle design, first introduced by the U.S. Mint in 2021. Created by Jennie Norris, the artwork shows the eagles head in profile, offering a close-up look at the national bird with a focus on lifelike detail and expression. The inscriptions here read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 5 DOLLARS, and 1/10 OZ FINE GOLD.
History
Among the four weights in the Gold Eagle lineup, the 1/10 oz coin has often been a top choice during times of rising gold prices. For instance, during the Y2K period in 1999, this fractional coin reached the programs highest single-year mintage with over 2.75 million pieces sold.
