By 1986, Proof Silver Libertads became an annual tradition, and over the next decades, the series expanded with weights both larger and smaller than 1 oz. Today, 2025 Proof Mexican Libertad 1/10 oz Silver Coins in perfect condition are available from Provident Metals.

Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Proof Mexican Libertad Silver Coin features Mexicos modern coat of arms with a golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus as it grips a serpent. On the 1 oz, 2 oz, and 5 oz coins, the design is surrounded by 10 historical versions of the emblem. Fractional-ounce coins like the 1/10 oz lack this outer ring. The inscriptions here read ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 Proof Libertad 1/10 oz Silver Coin highlights the Winged Victory figure standing atop the Mexican Independence Victory Column. In the background, the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes frame the scene, linking the design to Mexicos culture and geography. Inscriptions here include 1/10 ONZA, PLATA PURA, 2025 LEY, .999, and the mint mark.
History
Production numbers for the 2025 Silver Libertad Series are much lower than in past years. The Mexican Mint significantly cut back on Silver Libertad output this year due to market conditions and other factors. Some coins in the series have record-low mintages, though this 1/10 oz Proof Silver Libertad, limited to 1,500 coins, does not mark a new record low.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
