{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Seals are part of a large group of marine mammals that includes true seals, eared seals such as sea lions and fur seals, and walruses. These animals are found in oceans across the globe, from the warm tropics to the cold polar seas, with each species adapted to different habitats. This release from Tuvalu showcases seals in an Arctic landscape with a mother-of-pearl detail added to the reverse background. Provident Metals now offers the 2025 Proof Colorized Tuvalu Mother of Pearl Clouds 1 oz Silver Coin.
Highlights:
Each 2025 Proof Colorized Tuvalu Mother of Pearl Clouds 1 oz Silver Coin is presented in a display box, complete with an outer sleeve and Certificate of Authenticity. The reverse features a unique mother-of-pearl application, while both sides display proof visuals.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Proof Colorized Tuvalu Mother of Pearl Clouds Silver Coin includes the first effigy of King Charles III. This left-profile portrait, created by Jody Clark, shows the king without a crown. The inscriptions include KING CHARLES III, TUVALU, 1 OZ 9999 AG, 2025, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 Proof Colorized Mother of Pearl Clouds 1 oz Silver Coin highlights two seals resting on an Arctic ice shelf. Behind them, the clouds and sky are enhanced with a shimmering mother-of-pearl finish. Many seal species tend to live near nutrient-rich waters where food sources are plentiful.
History
Seals alternate between life in the water and time on land or ice. In the water, they hunt for fish, squid, and other prey. On land or ice, they rest, molt, and raise their young. Different species are spread across various regions, with the Arctic home to animals such as ringed seals and bearded seals, while Antarctica is known for species like leopard and Weddell seals.
