Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 Proof Colorized Niue Harry Potter Creatures Basilisk Silver Coin, youll find the Public Seal of Niue. This design features native plants within a circle of 14 shells. At the top is a Sovereign crown, reflecting Niues ties to the British Commonwealth.
Reverse
The reverse artwork on the 2025 Proof Colorized Harry Potter Creatures Basilisk 1 oz Silver Coin shows the Basilisk inside the Chamber of Secrets. The serpent is highlighted with a colorized background, and three green zirconia stones are embedded into the design. This beast was first bred by the dark wizard Herpo the Foul and is capable of killing with a direct glance and turning people to stone with indirect contact.
History
In The Chamber of Secrets, Tom Riddle uses the Basilisk to carry out his mission to rid Hogwarts of those he considers unworthy of magical blood. The creature is ultimately defeated by Harry Potter, with help from Fawkes the phoenix and the Sword of Gryffindor, a moment that shows the value of bravery and loyalty.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
