{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}In 2021, the United States Mint reintroduced two of its most recognizable silver coins: the Morgan Dollar and the Peace Dollar. This release commemorated 100 years since the Morgan Dollar ended and the Peace Dollar began. Today, the US Mint continues to celebrate these designs with new issues that honor their historical value. Right now, certified 2025 Peace Dollar Silver Coins are available from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Each 2025 Peace Dollar Silver Coin in this offering has been graded Mint State 70 and arrives inside a slab to protect its pristine condition. Coins with this grade show no visible imperfections and maintain their full mint luster. As Early Release pieces, they were received for grading within 30 days of their original release from the US Mint.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Peace Dollar Coin displays Liberty in profile looking to the left. Her hairstyle is loosely tied, with a few strands falling freely. Atop her head is a tall crown designed to resemble radiant light. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 2025.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 2025 Peace Dollar Silver Coin features an image of an American bald eagle perched calmly on a rock. Its wings are relaxed at its sides and its gaze is fixed toward the distance, while the sun rises in the background and sends rays of light across the design. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE.
History
The Peace Dollar series was originally issued between 1921 and 1928, with a final minting in 1934 and 1935. The first years coins featured a high relief design that was later modified to a lower relief starting in 1922 for better production results. The series was ultimately retired due to a drop in demand.
