{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Since 1986, the American Silver Eagle has played a key role in the United States Mints annual bullion program. For decades, the coins overall appearance remained consistent from year to year. That changed in 2024 when the Mint introduced a privy mark on a Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) Silver Eagle for the first time with the Star Privy release. In 2025, the series continues that updated direction with the Eagle Privy design. Today, certified 2025 (P) Eagle Privy American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are available at Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Each 2025 (P) Eagle Privy American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin in this listing has been certified MS70 by the NGC. A Mint State 70 grade indicates a coin with full mint luster and no visible imperfections. These pieces are part of the first 50,000 coins released in the 2025 Eagle Privy series. Each slab includes the special ERA label, developed by the NGC in collaboration with the US Mint and game developer Nice Gang.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 (P) Eagle Privy American Eagle Silver Coin is the historic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Originally introduced in 1916, the design shows Liberty walking toward the rising sun, wrapped in the American flag and holding oak and laurel branches. The Eagle Privy appears in the lower-right area of the field. The bald eagle featured in the privy remains a widely recognized symbol of the nation. The inscriptions here read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2025.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 (P) Eagle Privy Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin displays the bald eagle design created by Emily Damstra. First released in 2021, the image shows a left-facing eagle grasping an oak branch in its talons, with its wings lifted in a natural position. The design offers a modern representation of the species while maintaining its traditional symbolism. Inscriptions here read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The 2025 Eagle Privy Silver Eagle is one of just two US Mint coins eligible for the ERA label. The other is the 2024 Star Privy Silver Eagle. Together, these releases marked the first use of privy marks on BU Silver Eagles. Both coins also share the same limited mintage figure, placing them among the lowest-minted BU Silver Eagles issued.
