That year marked 100 years since the final Morgan Silver Dollar and the first Peace Silver Dollar were issued in 1921. Since their reintroduction, both coins have returned with their original imagery and are still in production. Each 2025 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin offered here has been graded and sealed inside a plastic slab. These coins are certified as Mint State 70, the highest grade possible, indicating full, original luster and no visible flaws. The First Day of Issue label means the coin was received by PCGS within 24 hours of being released from the U.S. Mint.
Obverse
On the front side of the 2025 Morgan Dollar Coin is George T. Morgans portrait of Liberty. Shes shown in a traditional left-facing profile wearing a Phrygian cap. Her head is adorned with a laurel wreath and a coronet, and 13 stars ring the edge to honor the original colonies. The inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 2025.
Reverse
The back of the 2025 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin features Morgans version of the heraldic eagle. With its wings fully open, the eagle is viewed from the front. It holds an olive branch in one claw to symbolize peace, and arrows in the other to represent protection and strength. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
Morgans heraldic eagle is one of the defining features of this coin. The eagle image dates back to early American coinage from the 1790s and was originally used to separate U.S. coins from British influences. The symbol represented more than designit emphasized the independence of the American monetary system and was a familiar mark of national pride for those using coins in daily life.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
