Design
The 2025 Colorized Samoa King Tutankhamun’s Dagger Shaped Silver Coin uses color and gold gilding to bring the ancient artifact to life. The original dagger was found wrapped with King Tuts mummified body. Made from meteoric iron, the blade was rare and valuable in ancient Egypt, long before iron became widely used. The ancient craftsmen decorated the weapon with gold embellishments, a crystal pommel, and a handle of solid gold.
History
Scientific studies of the original dagger have shown it contains high amounts of nickel and cobaltsigns of a meteoric source.
