These coins are part of the Alpha Strike, a designation that identifies the first strikes from a new program. Only 499 coins received this designation for the 2025 release. These proof-like coins feature a frosted design with mirror-like fields.
Obverse
On the obverse of 2025 Cayman Islands Sea Life Marlin Silver Coins, you’ll see the Cayman Islands coat of arms. The design features a shield with three stars on wavy blue and white stripes for the three islands, a gold lion to show ties to Britain, and a rope in a Turks Head knot that reflects the islands maritime culture. A green turtle and pineapple appear above the shield as symbols of local wildlife and exports. Inscriptions include 2025, CAYMAN ISLANDS, 1 DOLLAR, and 1 TROY OZ 9999 FINE SILVER.
Reverse

History
The Atlantic Blue Marlin, or Makaira nigricans, is one of the fastest fish in the ocean and a strong predator. Females are much larger than males and can weigh over 1,000 pounds. Theyre known for their bright blue coloring, long bills, and silver undersides. Their bodies are built for speed and allow them to swim as fast as 50 mph while chasing prey.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
