Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Black Proof Colorized Republic of Ghana James the son of Zebedee Silver Coin displays a left-profile portrait of King Charles III. The design is the work of Jody Clark, who also designed the final portrait of Queen Elizabeth II used on British coinage. The inscriptions include CHARLES III, REPUBLIC OF GHANA, 5 CEDIS, 2025, and 1 OZ .999 SILVER.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2025 Black Proof Colorized James the son of Zebedee 1 oz Silver Coins, the coin illustrates James during his final moments, kneeling before his execution. Though Judas was the first of the apostles to die, James is recognized as the first to be martyred. His beheading was ordered by King Herod. The inscriptions read JAMES THE SON OF ZEBEDEE.
History

The pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, the site believed to house his remains, became a central Christian journey in Europe.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
