All of these 2025 American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins are graded Mint State 70, meaning they have no visible imperfections and retain their original mint luster. Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 American Eagle Gold Coin, youll find the famous design of Lady Liberty by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Liberty is depicted holding a torch and an olive branch, representing freedom and peace. This design was originally featured on the $20 Double Eagle coin, which circulated in the U.S. until 1933. Inscriptions include LIBERTY and 2025.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2025 Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin features Jennie Norriss detailed portrayal of a bald eagle. This design, introduced in 2021, commemorates the 35th anniversary of the Gold Eagle series and brings a modern, intricate view of the eagles profile, with its detailed feathers and powerful expression. The inscriptions here include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ FINE GOLD, and 50 DOLLARS.

The reverse of the Gold Eagle features the American bald eagle, which is an iconic symbol of strength and freedom. In Native American culture, the bald eagle is considered a sacred bird, regarded as a messenger to the Creator. Its feathers are used in spiritual ceremonies and are a symbol of bravery and honor.
