Obverse
The obverse of the 2024-S Proof Peace Dollar features Anthony de Franciscis timeless portrait of Lady Liberty. This design shows Liberty in left-profile relief, with flowing hair and a radiant crown symbolizing light and freedom. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 2024.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2024-S Proof Peace Dollar Silver Coins, the American bald eagle is shown perched on a rock with its wings at rest. An olive branch rests in its talons, and rays of sunlight break over the horizon in the background, symbolizing the countrys hopes for peace following World War I. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, PEACE, and the S mint mark.
History
Anthony de Francisci, the Italian-American artist behind this design, created the Peace Dollar in 1921 when he was just 34 years old. His depiction of Liberty was reportedly modeled after his wife, Teresa, whom he sketched in the natural morning light of their New York apartment.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days.
