Sculptor Anthony de Francisci created the design as a symbol of peace following World War I. The series debuted in 1921, the same year the Morgan Dollar made its final appearance. Now, 2024 Proof Peace Dollar Silver Coins in certified condition are available through Provident Metals.

Each 2024 Proof Peace Dollar Silver Coin here is certified near-perfect by either PCGS or NGC. Coins with PF/PR69 grades show complete mint luster and no more than two small flaws. These may include faint hairlines or tiny contact marks outside the main design elements. Please remember that we do not guarantee which grading service certified the coin, nor can we ensure the label style or color.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Proof Peace Dollar Coin shows Liberty in left-facing relief. De Franciscis artwork highlights her facial features, flowing hair, and a radiant crown. Around the edge are traditional inscriptions, including IN GOD WE TRUST, where the U is written as a V, LIBERTY, and 2024.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2024 Proof Peace Dollar Silver Coin depicts a bald eagle perched on a rock while clutching an olive branch. Its wings are folded close to its body as sunlight rays shine into the background. This reverse, also by de Francisci, reflects the hope for lasting peace following the First World War. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE.
History
The Peace Dollar followed the Morgan Dollar, which was issued from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921. Designed to reflect the nations return to peacetime, the Peace Dollar carries symbolism tied to hope and unity. Produced in lower quantities than many Morgan issues, it has become an important coin for collectors.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
