History
In the Chinese system of Five Elements (Wu Xing), the Azure Dragon is associated with the Wood element. This connection links it to growth, vitality, and the season of spring. The Wood element is believed to promote creativity, intuition, and new beginnings. In traditional Chinese philosophy, this association means the Azure Dragon embodies qualities of flexibility, expansion, and the ability to overcome obstacles – much like a tree growing and adapting to its environment.
