Obverse

The obverse of the 2024 British Six Decades of 007 Silver Coin features a distinctive portrait of King Charles III, designed in 2022 by Martin Jennings, showcasing a left-profile relief without a crown. Inscriptions include CHARLES III, D.G. REX. F.D., and 2 POUNDS.

Reverse

Flip to the reverse side of the 2024 Six Decades of 007 1 oz Silver Coin, and you’ll find an image of the Little Nellie helicopter, a nod to the famous Bond gadgets and vehicles. Little Nellie, featured in You Only Live Twice, is based on the 1960s-era British-made autogyro. Inscriptions on this side read FINE SILVER, 1 OZ 999, 2024 BOND OF THE 60S, and 007. The names of various Bond films fill the background field.

History

Six actors have embodied James Bond, with Sean Connery and Roger Moore at the forefront. Daniel Craig, the sixth Bond, brought a grittier and emotionally complex portrayal in films like “Skyfall” and “Spectre.”
