History

During the Chinese New Year celebrations, dragon dances are commonly performed. These dances involve a team of people manipulating a long, flexible dragon puppet. The dance is accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of drums, cymbals, and gongs. The dragon dance is believed to bring good luck and drive away evil spirits.
