In 2024, the United States Mint released its first-ever Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Eagle featuring a privy mark. Known as the Star Privy, this coin became the lowest-minted BU Silver Eagle in the Mints history and launched a new era of privy-marked American Silver Eagles. Right now, Provident Metals offers the 2024/2025 Star and Eagle Privy American Eagle 1 oz Silver 2-Coin Set.

Obverse

The obverse side of each coin includes Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty design. This classic artwork, introduced in 1916, shows Liberty striding toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag. The 2024 coin includes a star-shaped privy mark, while the 2025 version has an eagle privy, both located in the lower right.

Reverse

On the reverse of both the 2024 and 2025 American Eagles is an image by Emily Damstra. Her design shows an American bald eagle in flight, wings lifted and talons extended as it prepares to land while gripping a strong oak branch.

History

The Star Privy coin from 2024 was the first BU Silver Eagle to display a privy mark. The star symbol appears on the obverse and was issued in collaboration with the mobile gaming group Nice Gang. Following that release, the US Mint continued the series with the 2025 Eagle Privy Silver Eagle.
