History

In Greek mythology, Ares, the son of Zeus and Hera, resides as one of the twelve Olympians on Mount Olympus. Revered as the god of war and courage, Ares is often depicted with his shield and either a sword or spear, symbols of his indomitable spirit. He represents the brutality and bloodlust of war, rather than his sister Athena whos seen more as a military strategist.
