Obverse
The 2023 Proof Noble 2 oz Silver Coin’s front side presents a left-facing bust of King Charles III, the newly crowned King of England. This change in portrait orientation signifies the start of a new ruler’s reign. It’s worth noting that male monarchs are often depicted without crowns. Inscriptions read KING CHARLES III, ISLE OF MAN, and 2023.
Reverse

In contrast to the Royal Navy vessel often seen on historic English Noble coins, this coin celebrates the island’s Viking roots. Inscriptions include AG, 999, 2 OUNCES, and ONE NOBLE.
History
One of the most famous variants of the original Noble is the “Angel,” introduced by King Edward IV. The Angel featured an image of Archangel Michael slaying a dragon on the reverse and was valued at 6 shillings and 8 pence, just like the Noble. The Angel was later revalued to 10 shillings under Henry VII.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
