Step into the captivating world of the Peace Dollar, a cherished relic in the annals of US coinage history. And now, you have the opportunity to own the 2023 Peace Dollar Silver Coin in pristine condition, available for purchase online at Provident Metals.

Highlights:

  • Each coin is securely housed in NGC plastic slabs for ultimate protection!
  • This represents the 2nd modern bullion Peace Dollar!
  • Limited availability of certified perfect coins!

  • The reverse displays a majestic bald eagle at rest.

A poignant symbol of hope and peace after the end of World War I, the Peace Dollar’s design showcases the graceful Lady Liberty on the obverse and a powerful bald eagle clutching an olive branch on the reverse, signifying the pursuit of peace.

Obverse

The obverse design of the 2023 Peace Dollar Coin unveils a captivating new portrait of Liberty, distinct from any other in the history of US silver dollars. De Francisci’s artistry captures a delicate left-profile relief of Lady Liberty adorned with a radiant crown of light.

Reverse

On the reverse of the 2023 Peace Dollar, de Francisci’s vision of peace comes to life. The image of the American bald eagle portrays the majestic creature at rest, its wings gracefully folded, and carrying only an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing tranquility.

History

The Peace Silver Dollar was minted from 1921 to 1928 and then again in 1934 and 1935. However, there was a gap in production between 1929 and 1933 due to the Great Depression.
