In addition to the seal, the obverse also has a lovely Cicmany pattern, plus inscriptions reading 5 DOLLARS, 2023.
Reverse
A golden eagle flying over the peak of Krivan Mountain is found on the reverse of 2023 Niue Slovakia Eagle 2 oz Silver Coins. This magnificent depiction is credited to Martin Dasek, whose initials are found below it. Also, across the border of the field are inscriptions which read 2 OZ SLOVAKIA AG .999.
History
The golden eagle is able to soar through the sky with ease before swooping down at incredible speeds to catch its prey. While the bird tends to hunt small vertebrae, it will also occasionally attack larger animals such as deer, antelope, and coyotes. Golden eagles also assist with natures clean-up process by consuming carrion. As for their name, that comes from the beautiful golden-brown plumage around their neck.
