The British Britannia Gold Coins obverse has seen several iterations of Queen Elizabeth II over the decades. Raphael Maklouf’s design graced the coin in its early years, followed by Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait from the late 1990s to the mid-2010s. Jody Clark’s effigy adorned the coin in the final years of Her Majesty’s reign. Now, a new era begins with King Charles III’s debut.
