PF69 coins showcase full, original mint luster and have a maximum of two flaws. Acceptable flaws at this grade include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines outside the primary design fields.
Obverse
The obverse design of the 2022 Proof Colorized American Purple Heart Coins showcases the Purple Heart medal, which features a heart-shaped center with a portrait of George Washington inside and a purple hue in the background. The design includes inscriptions of COMBAT WOUNDED & KILLED IN ACTION, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 1932-2022.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 202-W Colorized National Purple Heart Hall of Honor Coin features a nurse tending to a wounded soldier. Inscriptions on the coin include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and the W mint mark of the West Point Mint.
History
The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor museum honors Purple Heart recipients from all branches of the U.S. military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
