{{/presale}}The all-new Gods of Olympus Series launched in 2020 from the Perth Mint and Tuvalu. Though the variety of coins is new in this series, the designs are familiar to those who have been buying gold and silver from Perth Mint over the last decade. Each of the designs in the Gods of Olympus Series originally featured in separate Greek-themed releases in 2014 and 2015. Right now, you can buy 2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera 1 oz Gold Coins online from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
With your purchase of 2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera 1 oz Gold Coins online at Provident Metals, you will receive a coin that is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The new 1 oz gold BU coins in this series come with individual protective capsules and feature a Certificate of Authenticity with purchase. The mintage of 100 coins is the second-lowest behind only the 5 oz antique silver coin.
Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse side of 2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera Gold Coins. This portrait of the Queen was developed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint of England and shows the record-setting monarch in right-profile relief with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. The inscriptions on this field of the coin read QUEEN ELIZABETH II, 1 OZ 9999 GOLD, 2022, TUVALU, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse
Hera is depicted in the reverse design of 2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus 1 oz Gold Coins. This depiction of Hera comes from the 2015 Goddesses of Olympus Series and shows her figure seated on a throne with a lion to her right and a peacock to her left. The design element includes inscriptions of HERA and the P mint mark of Perth Mint.
History
In 2014, the Perth Mint introduced the Gods of Olympus Series with images of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon on the three coins in the series. In 2015, the Goddesses of Olympus Series was issued with depictions of Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite on the three coins of the collection. Both series featured only 2 oz antique silver coins.
In 2020, the new Gods of Olympus Series debuted with the same gods and goddesses, starting with Zeus in 2020, Hades and Poseidon in 2021, and now Hera as the first in 2022. Unlike the original collections, these coins come with 1 oz gold BU, 1 oz silver BU, 1 oz silver antique, 5 oz silver BU, and 5 oz silver antique options.
