The series launched in 2022 and continues now with the state of Oregon. Provident Metals currently offers the 2022 Proof Native America the Beautiful Oregon 1 oz Silver Coin for purchase online.

History
The tribal figure featured on these coins is a woman named Loo-wit. According to legend, she was asked by the spirit Sahalie to stand by a bridge with a fire to instigate peace between the Multnomah and Klickitat tribes. Granted one wish as a reward, Loo-wit chose to become young and beautiful. However, this prompted the chiefs of the tribes to fall in love with her, which created further strife between the two groups. As punishment, Sahalie turned the chiefs into the mountains that today we call Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood.
