{{/presale}}The Somalia Elephant Series of coins in the African Wildlife Series is not just one of the most robust collections from the Bavarian State Mint, but it is also one of the most varied coin collections from any mint around the globe. The series offers BU silver, gold, and platinum coins, as well as distinctive collectibles. Today, you have the opportunity to buy 2022 Proof Somalia Elephant 1 oz Silver Coins online at Provident Metals with ultra-high-relief images.
Highlights:
Since the 1999 debut of the African Wildlife Series, the African bush elephant has been the primary feature of the series. The African bush elephant is the largest living land mammal in the world today. There are two species of elephants: African and Asian. The African elephant is split between the bush elephant and the forest elephant, with the forest elephant the third-largest land mammal in the world and the Asian elephant the second-largest land mammal.
Obverse
On the obverse side of 2022 Proof Somalia Elephant 1 oz Silver Coins is a depiction of the Somali coat of arms. The national seal consists of a crowned shield with a single star at the center and horizontal lines in the background field. The shield is supported by leopards and this field has a beaded border. The inscriptions read SOMALI REPUBLIC, 2022, and 100 SHILLINGS.
Reverse
The reverse face of the 2022 Proof Somalia Elephant Silver Coin features an image of two elephants. These African bush elephants are part of the family herd. Here, you will see a mother leading its young calf along the savanna, with both elephants in left-profile relief. The inscriptions on this face of the coin read AFRICAN WILDLIFE, ELEPHANT, and 1 OZ AG 999.9.
