History
Occupying the most frigid areas in North America, the Inuit people bring new meaning to the term wilderness survival. To this day, the Inuit rely on the iconic harpoon weapon for hunting purposes. Consisting of a shaft, barbed head, and line, the harpoon is a convenient way to catch sea mammals in the arctic. However, managing this tool is no easy task, requiring extensive trial and error before achieving mastery. In addition to the standard throwing harpoon, you might also find the Inuit using a fixed-shaft harpoon to catch seals at their breathing holes.
