Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is found on the obverse of 2022 Proof Australian Tiger Gold Coins. Her Majesty features in a right-profile effigy created in 2015 by Jody Clark. This design shows the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown and is the first Australian monarch portrait since 1966 to include the Queens shoulders in the portrait field. The inscriptions on this side of the coin read ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ 9999 AU, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse
A large, powerful tiger frame is depicted in the reverse design of the 2022 Proof Australian Tiger 1 oz Gold Coin. This image of the tiger shows the beast as it stands confidently at the edge of a rock cliff. The beast is clutching the cliff edge with its large, powerful paws and looks back over its frame as it roars. The inscriptions on this face of the coin include the Chinese symbol for a tiger, as well as TIGER 2022.
History
The Proof Australian Lunar Tiger Series comes with coins available for individual purchase and those included in a set. The individual weights of 1 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz come with product limits that denote the number of coins available to purchase in presentation packaging on an individual basis. Each of these three coins has a mintage maximum that is set 1,500 coins higher to accommodate the release of a proof gold set.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
