{{/presale}}The Pressburg Mint has earned a reputation for bringing cutting-edge minting and laser-engraving technologies to the creation of unique and high-quality bullion collectibles. Its latest offering features an elegant rectangular design, a coin with intricately-detailed design on both surfaces that recalls a banknote’s shape and sports a bullion bar’s heft. Containing ten ounces of pure silver, its Brilliant Uncirculated quality offers mirror-finish surfaces and sharp detail that make it an ideal item for collectors seeking artistic and numismatic value. The 2022 Niue Silvernote Rectangular 10 oz Silver Coin is now available from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
The 2022 Niue Silvernote Rectangular Silver Coin comes secured in elegant silver-and-black, vacuum-sealed packaging that features the logo of the Pressburg Mint set against a backdrop of abstract design panels. Provident Metals fully insures shipments against the most remote possibility of loss or damage, and it’s a good idea to order early given the limited supply.
Obverse / Reverse
Both the coin’s obverse and reverse sides feature a striking silver-on-black effigy of late monarch Queen Elizabeth II, verifying it as legal tender. This is set against a series of abstract decorative panels and a backdrop of stylized waves, with inscriptions to confirm its face value and silver contents along with the phrase “IN ARGENTUM VERITAS.” A black border at the left carries the silver inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “NIUE 2022,” “10 OZ,” and the coin’s unique serial number.
History
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, has been home to a tradition of coin minting going back to ancient times. The first coins to be produced at the site were, in fact, silver coins in the 5th to 1st centuries BC; they were far from the last. A modern-day revival of this ancient tradition, the Pressburg Mint brings new philosophies and technologies to coin production. The result is a remarkable assortment of collectibles built around innovative design decisions, like the amalgamation of a banknote, coin, and bar represented by this exclusive limited mintage.
